NFL Week 15 Biggest Games, Best Bet and DFS Lineup
Dallas Cowboys @ Buffalo Bills
Two of the hottest teams in the NFL face off today. Dak and the Cowboys are on a 5-game winning streak and fresh off a monster win vs Philadelphia. With that win last week, Dak has himself firmly in the MVP conversation and only a few good games away from adding the trophy to his resume. If he can win this game on the road, the award would be his in my opinion. Barring some epic meltdown in the last 3 weeks that is. Winning in Buffalo is a tough ask though, especially given how well the Bills are playing lately. Since the firing of their offensive coordinator, they’re 2-1 including a win on the road against Kansas City last week. They’ve been doing it without a real Stefon Diggs presence too, which makes this streak even more scary. As soon as he gets going again, this offense will look that much better. I think this game will be a shootout, similar to the Bills/Eagles game two weeks ago. I’m predicting a Bills win by a score of 34-31.
Baltimore Ravens @ Jacksonville Jaguars
This is a massive game, but I’m scared it might not be close. Trevor Lawrence looked dreadful in the Jaguars loss last week to Cleveland. He probably should have sat out given he played a week after he suffered a high ankle sprain. An injury that doctors say usually takes 3-4 weeks to heal. If Lawrence isn’t 100% again, this Ravens defense will have a field day. Especially since Jacksonville is without one of their best receivers, Christian Kirk. Calvin Ridley is going to have to step up and fast if the Jaguars are going to keep contending for the one seed. The one seed is Baltimore’s to lose though. With Miami’s loss to Tennessee on MNF last week, the Ravens own it outright. They need to keep their foot on the gas because they head to San Francisco to take on the best team in the league. I have confidence they’re able to take care of business today. I see Baltimore winning 24-14.
Washington Commanders @ Los Angeles Rams
This game doesn’t have as many playoff implications as others, but I think it has the potential to be the most fun game of the slate. Washington’s defense is terrible. They’re currently 32nd in points allowed, yards allowed, passing yards allowed, passing touchdowns allowed and net air yards per passing attempt. All of those stats tell me one thing: Matthew Stafford is going to have a monster game. If you have Stafford, Kupp, Nacua or a combination on your fantasy team this week, you’re ready for this kick off. The Los Angeles Rams’ passing defense isn’t great either. They’re a little below league average in almost every category and Sam Howell loves to sling it. I expect this matchup to be a firework show and one that I’ll be watching closely. Final score: Rams 37 Commanders 27.
Puka Nacua Over 68.5 Yards (DraftKings)
The handicap for this bet is in the above paragraph. The Rams’ passing game is on fire. Kupp and Nacua will feast the entire game. Tutu Atwell isn’t expected to play today giving even more targets to the aforementioned receivers.
